what do you do with that corn? Dry or feed it?
yesterday, took about 60 bu of 19 moisture soybeans, then tried about 600 bu of 39 moisture corn. Wanted to at least get the end rows off, but the bubble up auger was a mashed wad of cream corn, so we quit.
Supposed to be 50's & dry for a a few days, so I'll turn on the dryer fan w/no heat to see if that corn mash in the dryer will dry down a little first without propane on it
rained again today, so went to Sioux Falls on a Lowes run
Observations along the way...... A few cornfields have the end rows off, most are untouched Not more than a handful of fields are done. Guessing 25% of the beans are still standing.
Only saw one field that was disked or chiseled.
Took next week off from work to combine something, not that I'll get anything done
